Travelling Turtle

George was at the end of the driveway, continuously barking (not unusual). I happened to look over and saw this verylarge "something" in the street making its way across Dogwood Trail from the swamp side towards the sound. I grabbed my camera, praying my dying batteries would last a bit longer, threw on my flip-flops and was out the door - it was a very large turtle. She (assuming gender) turned towards me and crouched down and allowed me one photo before resuming her journey (and it was all my camera allowed too)
